Kamari Beach is one of the most famous of Santorini. Named after the village of Kamari and its main characteristic is that it is a black pebble beach.
This beach has changed and improved since the ban on traffic on the road to the coast is now a pedestrian area. All kinds of restaurants, taverns, cafes, bars and shops are available in the pedestrian area next to the beach.
Kamari is a three-mile beach, is actually one of the longest beaches on the island and attracts all types of tourists from around the world. It offers, of course, sun beds and umbrellas, while there are a lot of water sports, ranging from water skiing to windsurfing and paddleboats.
