The best time to travel to Santorini is between April and June and from September to early November. Summer months (July and August in particular) are very hot, while spring is the best time, avoiding high temperatures, the crowd of visitors is lower and housing is cheaper. The winter is rainy and autumn is unstable.
Spring is the best time to enjoy the sea, warmer, peaceful and friendly. The best sunsets and the lack of haze enables the days to be bright and transparent. The colors of the Mediterranean, the light seems unreal. Perhaps the only downside that has this time of year is that their days are slightly shorter.
Summer is the mixture of the 2 above, but with a lot of visitors and higher prices.
Winter, from December to March is colder and less predictable. It is the perfect time for a trip with a cultural and performing a journey of archaeological and scenic court in Greece and perhaps leave the sea later this year.
